Who are we looking for?
Our Team Up program is seeking a Finance and Grants Manager based in our GHD office in Suva, Fiji for a fulltime fixed term position until 30 September 2025. This position is responsible for the administration and financial function including tracking budgets and forecasts, acquittals, partner contracting and all administration aspects of program operations.
Working with a collaborative and driven team, this position will see you working with Program Partners across the Pacific region, advising and reporting on Financial Program management.
This will include but not limited to:
• Partnering with Program Partners to influence and inform decision makers to make sound financial decisions
• Financial management of project including program budget development for program management and program activity with ongoing management and review, master cost tracking and forecasting
• Overall management of grants systems and processes
What you will bring to the team:
• A tertiary qualification in accounting, business or financial management
• Demonstrated experience in a finance position with strong exposure to financial reporting, budget development, forecasting, financial acquittals and invoicing
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and spreadsheet software
• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing systems for logistics, procurement, contract management, and financial management
• Extensive administration skills with Intermediate to advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office
• Ability to adhere to the requirements of working on a client funded program, including compliance to client procedures, policies and code of conduct
• Experience working with and within DFAT funded programs would be highly regarded in addition to interest or previous experience in international development, aid projects or sport.
