With a commitment to excellence, we are expanding our maintenance team and are seeking a qualified Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our operations on a fixed-term expatriate contract in Nauru. We provide vital air services connecting Nauru to the global community, and your role will be critical in maintaining our high standards of safety and performance.
The Role:
As a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and certification of our aircraft, ensuring compliance with IATA and CASA standards. Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance (Australian based), your focus will be on maintaining operational readiness, particularly with flying spanner duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections, rectifications, and certifications on B737 Classic and NG aircraft, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
• Act as the key technical resource during flying spanner duties, ensuring timely support for aircraft in transit while mitigating fatigue risks.
• Work within the framework of a rotating roster based in Nauru to prevent excessive fatigue and overtime, ensuring the safety of personnel and aircraft.
• Collaborate with the safety team to address any concerns flagged by Safety Management System (SMS).
• Support the Senior Base Engineer in leading maintenance activities and fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and integrity.

Key Requirements:
• CASA Part 66 Licence in Category B1 or B2, with a type rating for B737-300/700/800 (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in line maintenance, including flying spanner duties.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently in a live aircraft environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to work on a rotating roster based in Nauru, with flexibility to respond to urgent operational needs.
